Condition assessments

Condition assessments determine the operating condition and reliability of a diesel generator or emergency power unit. The assessment helps identify repair and replacement needs and estimate their costs.

We carry out condition assessments on emergency power units of all manufacturers. The condition assessment reports are stored in the maintenance system, which provides us with the unit’s maintenance history in the case further measures are needed. We recommend that a condition assessment be performed for all units that have been in use for a minimum of five years and a repeat assessment every five years.
